Be that as it may, I am going to discuss a good number of these functions as was assigned to the Nigeria Union of Teachers. Below are the functions of the Nigeria Union of Teachers:

1. Nigeria Union Of Teachers Campaigns On Working Conditions Of Its Members And Educational Issues:

A key function of the Nigeria Union of Teachers was to promote, as well as, protect the general interests of its members. Besides this function of advancing the cause of Nigerian teachers, the Nigeria Union of Teachers is also charged with the responsibility of campaigning on the conducive working environment and improved working conditions of its members.
