Every profession has standards of practice, and so does the teaching profession. So what the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria does, is in making sure that, it determine standards to be upheld in the teaching profession.

For these programmes to serve as such as springboard for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria to effectively discharge its functions, the Council has to make sure that, it monitors the programmes, as well as, enhances the programmes.
