2022 National Census Will Cost Up To N190bn – Senate Panel
The House of Senate Committee on National Population and National Identity has disclosed that over N190bn had been budgeted for the conduct of the national census in 2022. Information Guide Nigeria
According to DAILY TRUST, this was disclosed on Wednesday by the chairman of the committee, Senator Sahabi Alhaji Yaú, to newsmen.

DAILY TRUST reports that the committee disclosed this after defending the 2022 budget of the agencies before the Appropriation Committee.
As reported by DAILY TRUST, Senator Sahabi Yau said: “Over N190bn has been budgeted for the exercise. We’re waiting for the president to proclaim when the activities will commence.” Jamb Result
While noting that 2022 is a pre-election year, Senator Sahabi Yau said: “They thought it’s the best time. They must have done their calculations and the president is ready to conduct the National Census by 2022.”
