  2. Dial the USSD code *406*7*1# using your MTN phone number
  3. Your MTN pulse point balance will be displayed on your screen.

  1. Open your phone dialer app
  2. Dial the USSD code *406# using your MTN phone number
  3. A list of options will be displayed on the screen
  4. Select option 7 (Pulse Points) by typing the “7” key
  5. Now select option “1” (points balance) from the list of displayed options.
  6. Your MTN pulse point balance will be displayed on your screen.

NOTE: The MTN pulse point is equivalent to one (1) naira. That is, 100 points is equivalent to N100. So if you wish to purchase the MTN N500 for 1.5GB data, then you need 500 pulse points.

How to Use your MTN Pulse Point to Buy Data

After obtaining the MTN pulse point, follow the procedures below to make use of it:

  1. To use the MTN pulse point, go to the phone dialer app on your phone
  2. Dial the code *131# using your MTN phone number
  3. Select options “1” (data plans)JAMB Result
  4. Now select the type of data plan you wish to purchase (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
  5. After selecting the data plan, select “Points” as your preferred payment option.
  6. Confirm the purchase
  7. Your pulse point will be deducted, and the data plan will be activated.

NOTE: Ensure you have enough pulse point for the data plan you wish to purchase.

How to Redeem Your MTN Pulse Point

If you have enough MTN pulse point, follow the procedures below to redeem it:

  1. Click on your phone dialer appJAMB Form
  2. Dial the code; *406# using your MTN phone number
  3. Select option “7” (pulse point) from the list of options displayed
  4. Select option “2” (Redeem Points) from the options displayed
  5. Select your preferred data plan from the listNpower Recruitment
  6. Click on OK
