2023 Election: Do Not Take Out South East In Presidential Race, Umahi Begs Parties
David Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State, has called on political parties in the country not to scheme out the zone in the upcoming 2023 presidential race. Information Guide Nigeria
He said this at Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, during a prayer summit organised by the state government.
According to Umahi, the South East had paid a lot and must not be taken out of the background in the presidential zoning arrangement of political parties.
The Governor who noted that southeast people were nation builders, called for the unity of the zone in the affairs of the country.
According to Publisher, in Umahi’s words: “And let me state very clearly, zoning or no zoning party or no party, south east must not be schemed out of the affairs of this nation, it must not be schemed out.
“What is good for other states, is good for South East, it doesn’t matter whom God enthrones. Let South East be properly integrated into the affairs of this nation. We are nation builders, we should not be tilt.
