Floods, landslides kill 110, affect over 2.4m in Philippines
According to the agency, 33 individuals are still missing, and more than 100 have been injured.

The agency reported that 22 of the fatalities occurred in the region of Western Visayas, while 12 occurred in the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas, immediately south of Manila.
The affected areas have been ravaged by severe flooding as a result of storm Nalgae’s torrential rainfall in the days preceding its Saturday landfall in the eastern Philippines.
The weather agency reported that Tropical Storm Nalgae had left the Philippines, but a new tropical storm was headed toward the country’s eastern coast and was expected to bring more rain.
The bureau noted that it was likely that the storm would weaken into a tropical depression.
