A 25-year-old man known as Nasiru Badamasi has committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree at Tsadawa village in Taura local government area of Jigawa State. DAILY POST reports.

The District head of Tsadawa village, Alhaji muttaka Uba, confirmed the incident.

He said the incident happened Monday night on a farm near Zangon Maje village.

Spokesman of the Jigawa State Police command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam, said the incident happened on 24/01/2022 at about 0230hrs at Tsadawa village Taura Local Government.

He said police on Monday received a report that a man who is suffering from mental illness was nowhere to be found since he left home. Information Guide Nigeria

Shiisu said later, the man was found hanging with his trousers on a tree at the outskirts of Zangon Maje village. jamb results

According to him, receiving the information, a team of policemen moved to the scene and his corpse was conveyed to General Hospital Ringim where he was certified dead by a medical doctor.
