President Buhari Condemns Katsina Commissioner’s Murder

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the assassination of the Katsina State Commissioner of Science and Technology, Dr. Rabe Nasir.Information Guide Nigeria

The President who condemned the killing through his special media aide, Garba Shehu described the killing as heinous adding that there is no place for such violence in the country.

According to CHANNELS TV, the President said he is deeply anguished by the tragic killing of the up-and-coming leader who had served his community, state, and Nigeria with utmost diligence.

President Buhari said: “My thoughts are with the bereaved family.”

CHANNELS TV reports that Dr Nasir was shot and killed by gunmen on Wednesday in his residence at GRA along Daura Road, Katsina State capital.

According to CHANNELS TV, sources reveal that the commissioner was killed in the wee hours of the night.

Although a suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident, it is uncertain what transpired at the deceased’s house that night.

However, the authorities have assured that investigations are on going and those involved will be brought to book. Jamb Result
