Acquire Skills To Stay Off Long Queue Of Job Seekers – NYSC
The Director-General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig-Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim has advised youth corps members to ensure that they acquire in order to stay off the long queue of job seekers in the country.
According to INDEPENDENT, corps members have been urged to acquire skills that will help them become financially independent.
The DG of NYSC admonished corps members during the swearing-in ceremony of 2021 Batch “C” Stream 1 corps members held at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wailo, Ganjuwa Local Government Area, Bauchi state.
INDEPENDENT reports that the DG who was represented by Mr Baba Ladan, Director, NYSC North-East Area Office, Bauchi State charged corps members to embrace the scheme’s Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme. Jamb Result
The DG of NYSC said, “It is no longer news that white-collar jobs are hard to come by. For this reason, the empowerment of corps members for self-employment and wealth creation has been a major area of focus for the Scheme since 2012.
