AFCON 2021: VAR to be used throughout the Tournament
The African Soccer Governing Body has confirmed that Video Assistant Referee(VAR) will be up and running from the start of AFCON2021 and will be present at all venues.Information Guide Nigeria
Recall that VAR was only used from the quarter-final stage of the 2019 edition of the competition. On next year’s AFCON, CAF confirmed the update on VAR usage on Monday afternoon disclosing that everything is in place to help run the competition as it should be.
