
Bandits Release 90 Students, Others In Kebbi
Bandits in Northwest Nigeria have freed 90 abducted students and staff of Federal Government College (FGC), Birnin Yauri in Kebbi State after one hundred and eighteen (118) days with them. Information Guide Nigeria
DSP Nafi’u Abubakar, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State confirmed the release of the students and their teachers to reporters.

A father of one of the abducted students, who pleaded to be unanimous, confirmed the release of the students. JAMB Result
In his words: “Yes. They were released yesterday but are still with the authorities. They are expected to undergo some medical check-up before they are released to parents,” he said.
When asked if a ransom was paid before the bandits released the students, he responded, “I am not going to speak on that. I hope the authorities are in the position to explain better”.
