If you’re a Glo user and you wish to link your NIN to your phone number, then follow the procedures below:

  1. Copy out your 11-digit NIN number
  2. Open the messaging app on your mobile phone
  3. Send the message “UPDATENIN, Your 11-digit NIN number, First name, and Last name” For example send; “UPDATENIN 64812640614 John Bassey”
  4. Send the message to 109
  5. After sending the message your NIN will be linked to GLO line automatically.

OR,

  1. Dial *109* your 11-digit NIN number# using your mobile phone. For example, “109*64812640614#
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter and submit your details
  3. After entering your details, tap on send
  4. Your NIN will be linked to your Glo SIM card.
