Abbas addressed what he described as rumors being spread by the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). According to him, the NNPP has been propagating these rumors among its members to maintain hope ahead of the Supreme Court’s decision. He refuted claims suggesting that the NNPP had approached President Bola Tinubu to sway the judgement in favor of their gubernatorial candidate, with the understanding that the candidate would then join the APC.informationguidenigeria

The Kano APC chairman emphasized that these allegations were baseless and that the party, APC, had no intention of interfering with the judicial process. This response from the APC’s leadership in Kano seeks to clarify the party’s stance on respecting the integrity of the legal and electoral systems, amidst the politically charged atmosphere surrounding the governorship election dispute.JAMB Result
Abbas noted: “There is nowhere such a meeting was held with either Mr President or any leader of the party. President Bola Tinubu is a democrat and strongly believes in the rule of law and the right thing to be done and therefore will not be part of any arrangement or reconciliation to subvert justice and support people who have stolen votes or breached the electoral act to emerge as leaders.”JAMB Portal
Abbas pointed out that APC, as a party, was not aware of such an arrangement and would instead intensify all efforts to pursue its case at the Supreme Court to a logical conclusion.
