What Will Happen after the release of Windows 11 version 22H2

Microsoft hasn’t yet made any explicit announcements about its plans. The first feature update for Windows 11 hasn’t even received an official release date from the company yet. The Windows 11 2022 Update is expected to be released by the firm on September 20, 2022, as most people anticipate.

Microsoft might switch from the current one feature update per year release cycle to a three year release cycle for the operating system. Before 2025, the next significant update would not be available. It remains to be seen if Windows 12 will be released or if there will be another significant Windows 11 update.

Microsoft intends to roll out incremental feature drops over the following three years. These upgrades, known as Moments, add new functionality to the operating system without necessitating the installation of significant updates.

There will be two Moment updates for Windows 11, the first of which is already scheduled for October 2022. Albacore, who is generally informed, claims that Moment 1 would include new capabilities like tabs in Windows 11’s File Explorer. According to Albacore, the Moment 2 update won’t be available until the following year.

Moment updates will continue to be published whenever Microsoft deems a feature to be ready for general availability.

IN CONCLUSION, the new release procedure helps administrators and users manage updates better. Features will be introduced as smaller cumulative updates with a lower risk of big issues, rather than having to install a feature update every year and risking major issues.JAMB Result
