Police parade 18 suspected drug addicts in Edo

No fewer than 18 suspected drug addicts who are between the ages of 17 and 39 were on Wednesday paraded by the Edo State Police Command.

DAILY POST reports that State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adeboye, who paraded the suspects said they were arrested on February 27, at a drug hideout in Benin City.

Adeboye, said they were arrested by the surveillance unit of the command during a raid on their hideout following a credible intelligence.

According to him, the police receive information that a particular house located in Ogbelaka Street has become a den for criminal elements, illicit drug arms and ammunition.
