
Boko Haram Might Soon Recruit Drop-Out-School children – Obasanjo Cautions Buhari
One time President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has cautioned that Boko Haram might soon recruit out-of-school children if the government fails to send them back to their classrooms.
Obasanjo said this while addressing participants at the presidential youth mentorship retreat held at the Youth Development Centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State. DAILY POST reports.

He also blamed security situation in the nation for the increasing rate of out-of-school children.
The ex-president decried that over 14 million children who should be in school are on the streets; thus, the situation can worsen the nation’s security situation. Information Guide Nigeria
“Therefore, if you deal with Boko Haram by stick today, in a few years’ time, the situation will be worst because we are talking about security, it will be worst.”
He added that when it comes to security and poverty, the solution should start with education.
