
‘Borno Generates N18.7 Billion In 2021′- Chairman Of Borno
Mohammed Alkali, the Chairman of Borno State Board of Internal Revenue Service (BO-IRS), has said that N18,739,031,387.28 was raised through internally generated revenues (IGR) collected in 2021. DAILY TRUST reports.

Mohammed attributed the increase in IGR to the gradual restoration of peace after a decade long Boko Haram insurgency, thereby leading to an increase in the collection of various taxes and levies from markets and motor parks.
