BREAKING: Nigerian Government Seeks 74 Medical Specialists

The Federal Government of Nigeria is seeking 74 medical specialists for deployment to Guinea Bissau.

In a report filed by PUNCH, the Nigerian government through the Directorate of Technical Aids Corps seeks to employ 74 medical specialists who will work in Guinea Bissau.

This announcement was disclosed by Dr Tajudeen Sanusi who is the Registrar, Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, through a notice titled, “Notice to registered practitioners of urgent recruitment of specialists.”

PUNCH reports that deployment according to the Directorate of Technical Aids Corps will be the technical aid to Guinea Bissau for a period of two years in the first instance.

According to PUNCH, part of the notice reads,Information Guide Nigeria

“Interested specialists who are desirous of participating in the Technical Aid should apply to the Registrar.

“Some of the areas of specialities requested include Anaesthesiology (10), Neurology (2), Urology (2), Ophthalmology (3), Gastroenterology (1), Gynaecology and Obstetrics (10), Specialists Neonatology (3). Jamb Results

“Paediatrics (10), Ortho-Traumatology (4), General Surgery (11), Internal Medicine (10); Cardiology (1) Pulmonology (1), Intensive Therapy (2); Psychiatry (1), Nephrology (1) Otolaryngology (1) and Rheumatology (1).”
