Labour Party Denies Involvement in Coalition or Merger Talks with Opposition Parties

The Labour Party, under the leadership of Julious Abure, has firmly dismissed rumors suggesting that it is engaged in discussions to form a coalition or merge with other opposition parties. This clarification was made by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, in Abuja.JAMB Result

Responding to ongoing speculations about potential talks with a select group of opposition parties, Ifoh stated that the Labour Party’s leadership has not been approached nor is it considering any such alliances. He emphasized that the party remains focused on its independent path and its ongoing efforts to rebuild and strengthen its position.

Ifoh also addressed claims about the Labour Party endorsing a new coalition of opposition political parties, describing such rumors as the work of individuals attempting to disrupt the party’s rebuilding process. He referred to reports about the formation of a coalition known as the Coalition of Concerned Political Parties by a group of seven opposition political parties, clarifying that the Labour Party is not part of this coalition.
