”Buhari’s visit to Imo will make him see Imo problems”, Former Speaker

The recently nominated candidate for Federal Commissioner, National Assembly Service Commission for southeast, and former Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Nwoha Amaechi says President Buhari’s visit will give the president more insight into the problems affecting Imo State. Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, the Former Speaker described the visit as an opportunity for Imo, stating that federal presence and focus will be on Imo State.

As reported by People’s Gazette, Mr. Amaechi said: “The president will have first-hand information on the ground assessment of the problems of the people and from there, make concrete commitments and promises that will benefit the state”.

Identifying projects such as the underground tunnel and surface drainage system on Dick Tiger Junction, as one of the numerous projects to be commissioned by the President, Mr. Amaechi applauded the State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.

Describing such visits as events that do not come often, he attributed it to the performance of Governor Uzodinma adding that the visit will confirm Gov. Uzodinma’s claims of being supported by the Presidency. JAMB Result
