CHELSEA WANT JULES KOUNDE
It feels like Chelsea have been linked with Kounde for a long time now but a deal finally seems close. The Sun reports that Chelsea have agreed to sign Kounde in a deal worth around £55million.
According to the report, Kounde will allegedly undergo a medical in the next 48 hours as his move to Chelsea finally appears to be drawing nearer. Kounde is even alleged to have spoken to Tuchel about the move to Stamford Bridge and personal terms are no problem.
The 23-year-old is far from the biggest centre-back around at just 5ft 10in tall but has impressed with Sevilla thanks to his speed, 1v1 defending, and ability to pass out from the back. Even capable of playing at right back, Kounde could be ideal as the right-sided centre-back in Tuchel’s three-man defence.
