Benfica have reiterated that they will only part ways with the 21-year-old if his £106 million release clause is satisfied, despite significant interest. A prior attempt by Chelsea to undercut that offer was failed, and a second bid has apparently been rejected.NYSC portal
Graham Potter’s side reportedly gave Benfica the opportunity to sign Ziyech and reinforce their ranks with Santos and Fofana, who are due to sign this month, for the balance of the season. The proposition was promptly rejected, with Benfica stating that they are not a finishing school for other teams and that they are not interested in providing loans.
