Coalition Of Northern Groups Frowns At The Contemplation Of Kanu’s Release
The Coalition of Northern Groups has warned President Buhari to be careful in responding to Igbo leaders’ plea for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra.
The group added that if Kanu was set free, the North would hold Buhari responsible for the blood of northerners who were being murdered on Kanu’s alleged orders. Information Guide Nigeria

During a news conference conducted at the NUJ Press Centre on Monday, the group’s spokesperson, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Sulaiman, warned that if President Buhari agrees to Kanu’s demand for freedom without prosecuting and punishing him, Nigeria would unwittingly become a lawless state.
