1.  Analysis of Agreement

The first and most vital step in writing a good and quality guarantor letter is by reviewing the agreement document. This process entails that you note relevant information related to the contract, analyse the agreement, and check if it’s okay by you.How to Check MTN Bonus Balance

Once you’re satisfied with the agreement, you can involve your lawyer to cross-check the contract in case things goes South.Write Guarantor Letter For Employment

Also, enquire the company needing your service. Most individuals do not read the full terms of the contract and seldom do their research. Contacting the company will allow you to know the core agreement on the ground and the type of guarantor form you’ll be using. This is because most industries have their standard guarantor form to be used.

Additionally, negotiations can be made but this depends on the terms and conditions of the employing firm. This isn’t a big deal as some of these criteria are simple to fulfil.

To write a good guarantor letter that will convince hiring companies isn’t easy but possible. The first thing the company will look at is the set-up and salutation of the letter. A good guarantor letter must include a date which is usually located either at the left or right-hand side, email, residential address, name, and phone number.

Also, when saluting, do it formally. Don’t salute the agent or any other staff of the company with which you’ll be signing the contract with but address the employing firm directly. If the hiring company is called “Ritman group”, address it as dear Ritman group management. This looks simple, straightforward, and professional altogether.

3.  Curating the Letter

The main content of the guarantor letter will determine your chances of being chosen for the job position. Since a guarantor letter is a risky financial agreement, hiring companies will likely want to know the relationship between you and the guaranteeing person.  So, a catchy letter is one that clearly describes that relationship; making them see reasons why the person is willing to take such responsibility. Below is a nice example:

Dear Ritman Schools,

I’m contacting your company about my employer, Emmanuel Jackson. Emmanuel has recently applied for the position of a mathematics teacher in your school at Orok Lane. Having read all the terms and conditions of the job contract, I endorse him for the work because of his commitment to teaching and assume subsequent liabilities should an agreement breach occur.JAMB Result

From the above example, we can see that the guarantor has clearly stated the relationship between him and the individual involved. More so, he has further elaborated on why he vouched for him simply and directly.

Also, you need to state what you’re guaranteeing. Most times, this is not important but in a good number of cases, this is necessary to clarify the purpose of the letter. Here is a good example:

Emmanuel has demonstrated in all capacities that he can teach for 45 hours per week. The young man has shown this virtue in commitment and hard work over the years which I’ve worked with him. If in any case, he fails to meet the deadline, I shall assume full responsibility for this action.

Once you are done clarifying your reasons for the guarantor letter, sum up the whole purpose of the letter. This part is called the summary or conclusion of the guarantor letter. Below is a fine example of what we’re trying to say:

I, James Robert, hereby agree to guarantee and be liable for any consequences that may arise if my employer, Emmanuel Jackson, fails to teach your prospective A level candidates for 45 hours per week. This guarantee will remain in effect till the end of their exams which is on August 20, 2021.

In most cases, hiring companies will need additional information. You’ll need to show a will to provide for any extra data upon request. This can be done at the end of the letter. Here’s a good example:JAMB Form

If you need any further information from me, please let me know.

 Sincerely,

James Robert
