Covid-19: Civil servants denied access to offices in Abuja

PM NEWS reports that unvaccinated civil servants have been barred from entering their offices at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja.

The enforcement agents have returned civil servants and members of the public who are unable to provide proof of vaccination.
Those who are unable to present their negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) at the entrance to the Head of Service building have been returned back.
Recall that the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 had announced that civil servants who are unable to show proof of vaccination and negative PCR tests would not be allowed to access government buildings from December 1, 2021. Jamb Result
The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria however has pleaded with the Federal Government to extend the deadline till March 2022.
