
Cristiano Ronaldo hits out at Ballon d’Or ‘lies’ after Lionel Messi victory
Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo has placed accusation on France Football editor Pascal Ferre for lying that his ambition in football is to retire with more Ballon d’Or awards than Lionel Messi.Information Guide Nigeria
Ferre, who organises the Ballon d’Or, made the claim to the New York Times.
He said: “Ronaldo has only one ambition, and that is to retire with more Ballons d’Or than Messi – and I know that because he has told me.”
Ronaldo, 36, said on Instagram: “Pascal Ferre lied, he used my name to promote himself and to promote the publication he works for.
