Mercedes-Benz to introduce acceleration subscription fee

Mercedes-Benz will offer an online subscription service to accelerate its electric vehicles in the United States.

It follows BMW’s introduction of a subscription function for heated seats earlier this year.

Mercedes has stated to BBC News that it has no present plans to implement “Acceleration Increase” in the United Kingdom.

It will be available for purchase in the United States on the Mercedes-EQ EQE 350, EQS 450, and their SUV equivalents.
