Smith has extended his contract at the club until June 2024 and will continue to act as one of the senior members of the squad having been with the club on a permanent basis since January 2014.
Assuming that Smith does go on to fulfil the full term of his contract at Dean Court, he will pass ten years consecutive years as a professional with the Cherries.
