The former Spurs and MK Dons midfielder was not even in the squad for recent games against Ankaragucu and Istanbul Basaksehir, according to Turkish site Takvim, and manager Senol Gunes has effectively banned him for the rest of the season.
Gunes made his feelings about the England international apparent from the start, laying into him just a week after joining the Besiktas position.
He brutally commented, “Let’s not discuss Dele Alli as a player, but he is below expectations in terms of efficiency.”
