Omicron: FG Accuses U.S., UK, Others Of Hoarding COVID-19 Vaccines

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has accused the United Kingdom, the United States, and other advanced economies of hoarding doses of COVID-19 vaccines, leaving poorer countries with little or no supplies. Information Guide Nigeria

According to BUSINESS HALLMARK, Mr. Mohammed said this in Madrid, Spain during the 24th General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) on Wednesday.

Lai Mohammed emphasised that only equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines by all countries will ensure eradication of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to BUSINESS HALLMARK, Mr Mohammed said: ”Even before the clinical trials were completed, millions of doses of the most promising vaccines have been bought by Britain, U.S., Japan and the European block countries. Some of these countries bought doses five times the size of their population.
