Mr Abejide said, “Concerned that the level of engagement had reached the turning point whereby Adani Mega Systems Ltd had procured necessary equipment to commence the E-Customs projects as provided for in the contract.
“If the e-Customs is allowed to take off by settling the issues between the CBN and ADANl, the issue of borrowing will be reduced to the barest minimum, if not eradicated. Information Guide Nigeria
PEOPLES GAZETTE reports that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and other lawmakers resolved that the Customs and Excise, Finance, Banking, and Currency committees should settle the dispute adding that they should invite the committee on CISS, the finance minister, CBN governor, the customs’ controller general, and Adani’s managing director.
