Army offers free medical services to Kogi communities

The Nigerian Army on Thursday offered free medical care to residents of the Eika-Ohizenyi towns in the Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi.Information Guide Nigeria

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Nigerian Army offered the free medical care as a part of its civil-military cooperation initiatives.

Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya, the Chief of Army Staff, remarked during the occasion that the medical outreach was meticulously prepared to address the recognized common health challenges of the locals in the communities.JAMB Result

He claimed that would strengthen the already amicable relationship and increase the public support that the Nigerian Army already had.

The COAS stated that the free medical outreach was part of exercise Enduring Peace II, which the Nigerian Army had only recently launched. He was represented by Major General Sunday Igbinomwanhia, Commander, Headquarters Command Army Records.

The COAS stated that it was consistent with his vision of a professional Nigerian Army that was prepared to carry out assigned tasks in a collaborative setting for Nigeria’s defense.

According to Yahaya, he had made sure that the Nigerian Army formations and units gave the non-kinetic side of military operations the proper amount of attention in order to carry out his vision.

“Let it foster the desired peace, progress, and prosperity in these communities and the entire Kogi,“ he said.

“We thank the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for restoring peace to our communities,” he said.
