Emefiele To Reveal 2022 Economic Insights At Bankers’ Dinner

The dinner is scheduled to hold by 5:00pm on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

According to a statement from CIBN, the dinner will be both virtual (through Zoom teleconferencing) and physical to embrace high and quality participation across the country.

As reported by NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, Emefiele will address the audience on economic and financial market developments over the past year and the economic outlook for the coming year.

Dignitaries expected to deliver a goodwill message at the event include Mr. Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor, Lagos State, and his Oyo State counterpart, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde.

NIGERIAN TRIBUNE reports that His Excellency, Ambassador Cui Jianchun, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nigeria is expected to propose a toast to Nigeria and Dr. (Mrs.) Ije Jidenma, President, Institute of Directors, Nigeria, will propose the toast of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria

Dr. Bayo Olugbemi, President/Chairman of Council, CIBN, will deliver the welcome address as chief host and ‘Seye Awojobi, Registrar/CEO, CIBN, will host the Dinner.
