Fergie reveals all: Why I turned down Abramovich and Chelsea
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he turned down the chance to manage Chelsea following Roman Abrahamovich’s take over at Chelsea in 2003.Information Guide Nigeria
Speaking to interviewer Charlie Rose on American network PBS, Ferguson said that there is no bigger challenge than managing Manchester United.

He said: ‘I think he’d shake my hand if he came in now. [He] has got his energy and his purpose back so maybe that was a turning point in a way.’
‘They used an agent to approach me when Abramovich first took over the club,’ he said. ‘And I said no chance.’
‘I always come back to this point – why would you leave? Where is the bigger challenge? And the thing about challenges is, once you have won something, you can’t live on that. Not at Manchester United – you have got to win the next one.
