Give more airtime to children programmes – NBC tells broadcasting stations

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has urged broadcasters to allocate 10% of their daily airtime to children’s programming in order to instill moral values in them.Information Guide Nigeria

NBC Director-General, Balarabe Ilelah made the announcement during a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja.

He voiced concern about the lack of attention given to children’s local programming by sponsors, producers, and broadcasters.
