According to her, Davido married Chioma so that he could claim the remains of his deceased son. In accordance with Igbo customs and traditions, a kid only belongs to the father if the marriage rites and bride price have been paid.
According to this tradition, Kemi Olunloyo claimed that Davido was required to pay Chioma’s wedding price in order to receive his son’s body; else, Ifeanyi’s body would be buried by the Rowlands.
