First Bank Speaks On Open Banking

First Bank has enlightened on Open Banking. Information Guide Nigeria

PUNCH reports that First Bank has stated that the 2021 edition of the annual Fintech Summit is open to everyone but they will have to register.

With the theme ‘Open banking and its derivative opportunities for the financial ecosystem’, the annual summit will be the fifth in its series and is set to trigger the application of an Open Banking regime in the country.

According to First Bank, the theme will be led by the Lead Faculty of Tekedia Institute with a Ph.D. in engineering from John Hopkins University, USA, Prof Ndubuisi Ekekwe, and also discussed by policy influencers, regulatory officials, experts. Jamb Results

These speakers will also speak on the key and leading players in the Nigerian financial, banking, and technology climate.

The statement reads, “The need for open banking in Nigeria cannot be overemphasised as the importance goes beyond just convenience to its game-changing impact in transforming value creation, product conceptualisation and closing the financially excluded gap“.
