Five Deaths Recorded, Others Injured In Lagos Gas Explosion

About five persons lost their lives while a number of persons yet to be sure have been injured in a gas explosion at 31, Odekunle Street, Papa Ajao, Mushin, Lagos, on Tuesday. Information Guide NigeriaOfficers of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are presently at the scene of the explosion.

Mrs Margaret Adeseye, the director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, said the incident was reported at 08:42am through the State emergency reporting platform and was responded to by a combination of the State first and secondary responders. THE GUARDIAN reports.

Adesye said on arrival at the scene, it was discovered that it is an open space used for several activities including a beer parlour, mechanic workshop, spare parts sale, and gas shop. jamb results
