Two Nigerians shot dead in South Africa amid rising xenophobia

Two Nigerian nationals were reportedly killed over the weekend in Johannesburg, South Africa, amid a revival of attacks on foreigners in the country.Information Guide Nigeria

Although facts of the incident were still vague at the time of submitting this article, it was learned that one of the deceased, identified simply as Dashu, was shot dead on Saturday, January 28 at Midrand Hyper in Johannesburg.

Dashu is claimed to be a well-known dealer in Johannesburg’s Boulders Mall neighborhood, and he was previously married to a Congolese woman.

The other victim was shot many times in a Johannesburg neighborhood the same day after the suspects allegedly called him by name to confirm his identity before shooting him.NYSC portal

He had two children with her before being brutally murdered.
