Ganduje Presents N196.3 billion 2022 Budget To The State House

The Executive Governor of Kano State, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, has presented the 2022 budget to the State House of Assembly. Jamb Result

According to DAILY POST, the budget is a total of N196.3 billion for the 2022 fiscal year.

The budget which is tagged, “Budget of Consolidation And Prosperity”, has a capital expenditure of N107.5 billion and a recurrent expenditure is N88.2 Billions.

DAILY POST reports that the budget has a total expected revenue of N49.508 billion adding that this is lower by N40.5 billion to that of 2021, while education takes 26 percent of the total budget at N51.6 billion.

The Governor said that to complete all ongoing projects, the sum of N33.8 billion will be allocated to the state Ministry of Works.

The Governor also budgeted the sum of over N15 billion for the state Ministry of Health, general administration will receive N27 .1 billion. Information Guide Nigeria

The 2022 budget has the expected recurrent revenue at N146.8 billion, out of which N33.8 billion is expected to come from the Internally Generated Revenue, Federal Allocations N68.299 billion, VAT N37.556 billion.
