Gender Violence: Aisha Buhari Solicits For Opening Of Special Court      

Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari has solicited for the setting up of special court to accelerate prosecution and justice system on Gender-Based Violence in the country. Information Guide Nigeria 

She also called on State Governments to look into the obstacles militating the Girl-child education across the country.

Mrs Buhari made this call during the 2nd Annual Conference of the Nigerian Governors’ Wives  Forum, NGWF held on Thursday in Abuja. VOICE OF NIGERIA reports.

Mrs Buhari further called on the remaining four States that have not domesticated the Violence Against Persons Prohibition laws VAPP, to validate the Act. jamb results

She called on everyone to embrace Gender-Based Violence GBV issues in order to maximise impact and Interventions.
