Ghana to vaccinate returning travellers on arrival

Ghana’s Health Service Director-General, Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, has disclosed that from Monday, the country will vaccinate returning citizens and residents against COVID-19 upon arrival at the airport.

According to THE NATION, Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, made the disclosure in a statement on Friday, due to the over low take-up of vaccination in the country.Information Guide Nigeria

Patrick Kuma-Aboagye said that Ghanaians travelling out of the country would also be required to show proof of vaccination because of the increased number of COVID-19 cases and detection of the Omicron variant.
