The 2022 Golden Boy award, the prestigious honour bestowed upon the best and brightest young talent in European football each year, has been won by Barcelona midfielder Gavi.Informaion Guide Nigeria

From a final list of 20, the 18-year-old emerged victorious. Among the other finalists were Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund, Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, Eduardo Camavinga of Real Madrid, and his Barça and Spain teammate Ansu Fati and Pedri, the winners of the award in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
