Aminu Sale COE Degree Post-UTME Form 2023: Cut off mark, Requirements. Candidates who are interested in applying for admission into various courses of the Degree programme of the above-named institution are hereby directed to register for the second batch post-UTME screening exercise which is ongoing. Details of the admission requirements and how to apply have been provided below.

The Aminu Sale College of Education, wishes to notify prospective applicants seeking admission into its undergraduate programs affiliated with the University of Maiduguri, for the 2023/2024 academic session that the forms for second batch post-UTME screening are available and registration is ongoing. The Second Round Admission Screening Exercises commenced from Monday, February 12th, 2024, at the Academic Unit (Admission Registration Office).

Aminu Sale COE Degree Post-UTME Form

Admission Requirements:

For UTME 100 Level Candidates:

  • A Minimum of 140 JAMB Cut-off marks
  • Five (5) ‘O’ Level relevant Credits, including English and Mathematics.

For Direct Entry Candidates (200 Level):

  • A Minimum aggregate of Eight (8) Points in NCE/IMB and a Merit in Diploma
  • Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits, including English and Mathematics.

General Notes:

Candidates are required to present the following documents during the screening exercises for both NCE and Undergraduate programs:

  • Original ‘O’ Level Statement of Result duly signed by the principal
  • ‘O’ Level Scratch Card for WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS
  • JAMB Result Slips/DE Registration Slips for 2023
  • Original/Photocopies of Credentials
  • Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) Payment receipt for admission screening.

Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, affiliated with the University of Maiduguri, elucidates the eligibility criteria and application method for all aspirants vying for admission into the 100 and 200 levels of its B. A. Ed and B.Sc. Ed. Courses for the ensuing academic session as follows:

Prerequisites:

  • Direct entry candidates are necessitated to attain a minimum aggregate of Nine Points (09) in NCE/IJMB and a Credit in Diploma.
  • Candidates striving for admission into 100 Level are mandated to secure a minimum of 140 JAMB UTME Cut-off Marks.
  • Possession of 5 ‘O’ Level Credits inclusive of English, Maths, and three other pertinent subjects in the intended course of study is imperative for all candidates.

How to Apply

  1. Prospective candidates are to remit a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) solely for the screening process.
    1. Applicants are required to present both Original and Photocopies of their Credentials, JAMB Result Slip for 100 Level Applicants, and JAMB Registration Slip for DE Applicants.
  2. Candidates are compelled to upload their ‘O’ Level Results on the JAMB Portal.
  3. For a change of Institution/Courses, log on to the JAMB Change of Course/Institution Portal and elect the College as their first choice.
