Gov. Abdulrazaq Formed His Cabinet without Seeking My Consent – Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said that the Governor of Kwara state Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq formed his cabinet without seeking consent from him and other leaders who assisted him to become the governor. Information Guide Nigeria

Mohammed said this in an interview while proffering solution to the political issues in Kwara State, including claims made against him by Gov. AbdulRazaq, the governor of Kwara.

As reported by INDEPENDENT, in Mohammed’s words: “This is a man who formed his cabinet, without even consulting me. Yes. I was not consulted and I’ve never complained to anybody.”

“I say this with all sense of humility. I am a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He only came to join us in 2018, when Dr Bukola Saraki went back to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).”

Mohammed noted that Abdulrasaq does not understand the concept of APC brand of politics.

The communication minister added that the Abdulrasaq had no business in politics and only tricked APC to become a governor. jamb results

Mohammed said:

“You know they say Oja Okun Kun in Yoruba, we say it’s night market kind of, and he convinced them and they sold to us and we all bought it, but as soon as he got the ticket, we realised that he had no money at all and that’s why it now dawned on me that I had to go out and raise funds.

“We started campaigning for political supremacy in Kwara long before he joined us.”
