Governor Willie Obiano Under The Watch List Of EFCC
Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has been placed under the watch list of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in view of the March 16, 2022 hand over to governor-elect, Chukwuma Soludo.
In a letter to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on November 15, 2021, EFCC requested NIS to place Governor Obiano on watch list travelling out of the country from any of the international airports and other points of entry and exit. INDEPENDENT reports.

Why the governor was placed on the watch list was not disclosed, but it was reported that the commission has been investigating the governor discreetly. Information Guide Nigeria
