I am ‘Unrepentant PDP Leader,’ Fayose To Tinubu

Ayodele Fayose, erstwhile governor of Ekiti State declared that his visit to the former governor of Lagos State and a leader in the ruling All Progressives Congress Bola Ahmed Tinubu was strictly on health ground and not anything.

Recall that Tinubu had returned to Nigeria early this month after spending some weeks in London recovering from knee surgery. Information Guide Nigeria

Fayose, a member of the opposition People’s Democratic Party, visited Tinubu at his Bourdillon, Ikoyi, residence on Tuesday but some thought his visit could be connected with Tinubu’s rumoured plans to succeed the current President, Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Fayose however, cleared the minds of the people on his visit to the Tinubu.

He noted that despite their political differences, Tinubu deserves his visit, adding that “politics should be about love for each other.”

“Health issues know no political party and in this part of the world, we seldom celebrate people when they are alive,” Fayose said. “Rather, we like to sign condolence registers. To me, that is not the best way to live.”
