Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), has disclosed he did not know that Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State was placed on the watch list of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Information Guide Nigeria

The Minister of Justice also denied that he was part of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council of the Anambra governorship election.

Meanwhile, Anambra State Government has said that Obiano is ready to answer questions about his tenure in office.

This was in reaction to the news that the EFCC placed a watch on Obiano, who will conclude his tenure on March 17, and suspected that he may leave the country after then.
