“I have been texting Olamide since 2020”-Asake shares how he got Olamide’s attention

Ahmed Ololade Asake, better known by his stage name Asake, has described how he joined Olamide’s record company, YBNL Nation.Information Guide Nigeria

He said this in an interview with Cool FM, where he also said that he had texted Olamide since 2020 but hadn’t received a reply.

He explains how he used to nip into Olamide’s DM and seek assistance while reminding him of the times he had helped his buddies, including Fireboy and others. He admitted that he and Fireboy attended the same school, but Fireboy appeared to have achieved success before him. He frequently exploited this information against Olamide in an effort to grab his attention, but it wasn’t successful.

He added that after releasing “Omo Ope,” his wish had come true. He claimed that Olamide had only called and insisted that they meet, and when he arrived, Baddo had only asked him whether he wanted to become a member of the family.

Asake revealed, full of joy, that he immediately accepted the request without giving it any thought.

Excessively happy, Asake said he wasn’t even going to read the contract terms before signing because he thought it would be a waste of time and just wanted to go to work.
