Kano prohibits movies showing abduction, indecent scenes to reduce crime
The Kano state film censorship board has prohibited the selling of movies showing kidnapping, drug addiction, and other indecent scenes to curtail the crime rate in the state.
The executive secretary of the board, Ismaila Naaba Afakallah broke the news in a statement on Tuesday.

Naabba said the measure became necessary to reduce the chances of young people adopting criminal acts in the state.
